RootServe replaces public-cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, Azure) for Indian organisations with one dedicated physical server per client, on Indian soil, contracted with an Indian entity under Indian law. Pricing is fixed at 60% of the customer's current cloud bill.

## Why it exists
- UGC and DPDP guidelines require data on Indian soil, governed by Indian law, with auditable isolation. Public hyperscalers fail at least one of these.
- Hyperscaler bills spike unpredictably and contain US CLOUD Act exposure.
- Indian universities and startups need predictable, compliant, on-shore compute.

## Founding story
NG-NeXT spent five years building AI products with real customers and real load. The cloud bill crossed ₹4 Lakh per month. Engineering moved the workloads to its own bare metal and measured carefully — same workloads ran 2× to 4× faster at half the cost. RootServe is that infrastructure, opened to other Indian institutions that need the same thing.
